THE ECTS CONVERSION
The “Gesualdo da Venosa” Conservatoire has decided on the following conversion table from Italian (18 – 30 e lode) to ECTS (“E” to “A”):
 
A (ECTS Grade) = 30 “Cum Laude”
Excellent – outstanding performance with only minor errors;
B (ECTS Grade) = 28 to 30
Very Good – above the average standard but with some errors;
C (ECTS Grade) = 24 – 27
Good – Generally sound work with a number of notable errors;
D (ECTS Grade) = 21 – 23
Satisfactory – Fair but with significant shortcomings;
E (ECTS Grade) = 18 – 20
Sufficient – Performance meets the minimum criteria.
